Difficulty: Beginner/Intermediate (experienced admin team, but a new site)
Description: This medieval fantasy RPG is loosely based upon the recent BBC adaption of the Arthurian legends: "Merlin" (More information can be found at www.bbc.co.uk/merlin/ )
However, it is very important to note that this is not a fan-site for the show. Only the basic elements have been encompassed. The land is ruled by King Uther, and his son and heir, Prince Arthur, is the same young age as his friend, and wizard, Merlin. Magic is not forbidden in this RPG! All of the plots and story lines created on this site will not be based on the show (unless of course you want them to be!)
You do not need to have seen the show to RP in this site.
There is no specific plot at present (as we are a new site and would like to build up members and activity first) but we plan to change this in the future. Tournaments and battles will be posted in this thread, but also as an announcement. If you have any questions about the site, storyline or it's basis on the show then please PM me, or any other member of staff and we'll be happy to help.

Helloo, i am one half of the original admin team! (Lord Nathaniel, who i've stupidly forgotten my password too... so i'm writing this through one of my other characters accounts!) The beautiful back up admin has given me a poke up the bum, and told me that there was still some activity here! I'm also admin to the new site BUA has posted above.
It's up to you guys whether you want to resume posting here... we'd have a lot of work to do, probably deleting or moving old posts around, changing canon characters etc? Or hop over to our new site, it's relatively new (never really took off first time round tbh) and we can give you canon charcarters/mod positions over there and we'd really appreciate your hel/good posting to get the site up and running!

AHAAA! I finally remembered login!!! (i was merely a back up mod so it took a while....)

in all honesty guys, i am the only member of admin left [and originally i was only backup admin!]
no one else is interested anymore, we currently have exams and the university in the autumn... i cant run it by myself and with only around 4 of us constantly checking back i dont think its possible to keep this site open.
if you want to keep rping then please go ahead, we wont shut it down....and perhaps in the summer when we all have free time it will pick up once more
but for now i dont think there will be many rpers so it is now up to you whether you stay or go =]
i will try to check this weekly but with exams n stuff its hard
so sorry guys, i love this site and i would hate to see it die....if u can recruit new members then by the summer i may have the old admin team back on side =]

Not to sound pessimestic here, (go ahead, flame me, smite me, hate me; I'm just relaying my thoughts) but is it me, or is this place starting to die, even although members have stated they "would" start replying again? >.>"
The foxes of Hidden Plains are almost exactly the same as the foxes here on earth. The differences are that these foxes are completely untroubled by humans, and they come in every colour possible. From red to violet, plus all the shades and everything in between. There are mixes and blends and absolutely any colour combination you could think of. For as long as any fox can remember, the colours have brought happiness to the meadow. The foxes spend long days chasing each other, admiring each others' colours, and generally enjoying the brightness and contrasting fur in the valley.
However, as horribly cliche as it is, all good things come to an end. It started with a cruel king and his friend, who they turned on there family and citizens. There was a fight, a betrayal, a murder, and an exile. The fight was between the two friends, the betrayal was when one of them lied to the vixen about winning the fight. The murder was when the other male, a big fox hued bright Blue, with crimson streaks running down his back like fresh blood, killed the vixen. The exile was when he was turned out of the Plains by the other foxes for killing the female. The murderer fox vanished for a long time. The foxes did not forget what he had done, but they forgot his look, his smell, and he could no longer be recognized by anyone, even if he danced furless in front of their noses.
He came back. He had a plan. He wanted power, and he wanted to destroy the plains and all who lived here. No more peace and happiness for anyone but him. He introduced himself as a weary vagabond, looking for a place to live. They welcomed him happily, and he made himself comfortable. He started spreading his ideas, targeting the young. He told the blues that they were better than the rest - the rainbow told him so. The oranges foxes were the lowest. The mixed foxes, who had more than one colour, were outcasted. The big blue fox created a hierarchy based completely on colour. He was the king, the blues were other royalty. It all went downhill from there. The greens and yellows were left to fend for themselves.

Nyx was having the time of her life in the ocean riding the waves with little effort.To someone that lived on land it would look like she was drowning even thought that wasn't the case.She smiled slightly as she dove back underwater just in time to not hit the sharp rocks near the base of the cliffs. She sighed with relief, That was close, she thought.
She came up again and spotted a girl sitting on the cliffs in the middle of the storm.She was alittle surprised she didn't think anyone would be out in this storm.Maybe shes lost, she thought alittle concerned for the girl that she didn't even know.She swam towards one of the runways to the top of the cliffs and changed her fins for legs.She stood up alittle wobbly at first but soon regained balance,she jogged up towards the girl not thinking that maybe it was a trap or something.Some humans liked to capture mermaids like her but Nyx was so young that she didn't even think that this girl could be an enemy of hers.She came to the top after a few minutes and took a few deep breaths before walking over to Trianna."Hello are you lost? Or are you hurt?"she asked curiously.The girl looked completely soaked to the bone now.

I originally played Sôwen the Dragon Watcher, here, but then after some RL-drama I became inactive. Now that I'm back, I find my account got deleted O.o
I've asked the admin if I can continue on with my old role, but now I'm thinking if I should take on a new charrie... hmmm...
