Name: Suikius Delia
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Suikius is an average sized man, you could say, standing around 5'9", not the most massive person you'll see at all. He never was a weak man, his body is well-built, muscles rippling up and down his figure. Shoulder length hair is swept back from the peak of his head, drifting backward in a cascade of jet-black strands. His face is good-looking, oval fading into a square-jaw. Suikius is untouched by wrinkles and maintains a deep tan, with the sun constantly beating down upon him from horseback. His eyes are a deep turqoise, wandering from person to person, even when Suikius should be focused. Though he is usually well-cut and clean, he often has five-o'-clock shadow to extend an image of ruggedness. Scars run about his back, forearms, and chest; not as tales of heroic battles, but insults of reminders of the toll drunken brawling can take on you.
A black headband rests on Suikius's forehead, knotted at the back beneath his hair. Garments are often simple and practical for Suikius. Dark brown military boots hold his feet, laced criss-cross from the toe to halfway up the shin, where the boots end. Black cotton pants loosely fit to Suikius's stocky legs, held by a light-brown leather belt buckeled with the silver crest of the Stallion. A black T-Shirt fits over his bulky chest. Layered above this is a deep brown leather curiass, as well as leather greaves over his legs and leather bracers on his forearms (all of the same material and fitted with iron buckles.) On top of it all is an exquisite black robe that reaches from his broad shoulders to his ankles. Suikius's robe is trimmed in gold along the sides and the long-sleeves and a leaf-pattern flows from the right shoulder to the center of his chest.
Character: Suikius is a wallflower to most, someone who simply blends in with the crowd and doesn't say/do much to stick out at all unless he's provoked. For a man in the shackles of civilization, you'd think he'd be explosive and dark, but it's the exact opposite. Suikius is humble and kind at heart. He will often spit sarcastic and demeaning remarks, but those are just his terms of endearment. A natural ego is carried with him, not shown through words, but through the bounce in his step and his determination to perfect whatever his mind is set upon. Suikius holds a strong sense of morality; he will usually do whatever he can in his power to help those dear to him.
Violent combat isn't something Suikius enjoys, but seeing as it is the key to his freedom, it's something he does regardless. Fighting is a game to him, to the disliking of his leaders who strive for discipline. When he was recruited into the Order of the Stallion, it was the perfect fit for him. Animals, horses in particular, always seemed to have a bond with Suikius. If anything could bring a smile to his solemn face, it would be his memories of long days horseback riding.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Suikius is a decent warrior, albeit an inexperienced one. His athleticism is usually what can bail him out of humiliation in sparring matches, though he has never won against a trained swordsman. Horseback riding is his dominant advantage over most, where his decent swordsmanship and admirable archery truly shine. Being a trick-rider in the past, Suikius posesses a calmness while riding horses as well as a set of unorthodox skills to improve his worth in the Order of the Stallion.
Though he isn't the most intelligent person, he does have quick wits and a sharp tongue. Suikius is more of a follower than a leader when it comes down to it and isn't too outspoken. He does prefer working by himself versus working with groups of people, which can be a weakness and a strength depending on his situations. Sukius doesn't handle alcohol too well either, and once he gets a drink in him he'll keep going until his consciousness or liver fails (and thankfully the former happens first.)
Magic: N/A
Weaponary Skills: Suikius uses a simple longsword, made of steel with an ebony hilt. His bow is an Asian-style composite bow made of treated oak with a string of sinew. It is a short bow, but heavily curved, allowing for Suikius to hit targets within the range of a larger bow without the hassle of carrying something massive. Though the weapons are nothing special, they are deadly nonetheless.
Character History: Born to a family of stable-workers, Suikius never thought of himself as something special. He was going to live a peasant's life and die a peasant's death. His father, Laynius Delia, was a stableworker outside of Lithônion. Suikius's mother died during his birth. Life was difficult living only with his father in a shack beside the city, wearing rags, but it was there that he inherited a humbleness and love of horses. When he was only 10, Sukius rode bareback on horses around the outskirts, feeding them and training them. By thirteen, he attracted attention and some income by doing stunts on the stable owner's best horse, riding backwards, hurdling flaming bales of hay, hitting targets with his bow riding sideway and backwards. Whatever would attract attention.
Once he was fifteen, he considered himself a big-shot entertainer. Small crowds gathered to watch Suikius attempt whatever stunt he was pulling at the time. Whether he failed or succeeded, people would pay. Heck, if he failed, people would pay more just to watch him almost get trampled. At the coming of his age, Suikius Delia was a name gossiped about every now and then. Good or bad, the stable owner was loving the publicity. Though the icon of the small stable would soon take a turn for the worse.
Laynius Delia was arrested by city guards for a murder he didn't commit, just after Suikius's 22nd birthday. He was executed by the guillotine and forgotten. Suikius became a frequent visitor to bars throughout the city. His career as a horse-rider crashed as soon as his reputation as an alcoholic spread. One night, after being insulted, Suikius beheaded a man in a drunken rage. He was immediately surrounded by guards and shortly after killing the man, passed out.
Prison, it happened just like that. He could barely remember what occured the night before and frankly, he didn't want to remember. Just like the walls of the prison, he grew cold, empty. It was an intervention for him. Suikius's negativity didn't get him anywhere and from behind bars, he gained a determination that after 15 years, he would do something good for the world. The break that he wanted would come after five months. During that period, Suikius trained himself vigorously, for lack of anything better to do in his cell. Commander Morland was on a visit to the prison to check up on his guards and recognized Suikius, offering him a choice, a way out.
He would join the army under the Order of the Stallion, closely watched, and regain his freedom after serving out his prison sentence as a soldier. ((if you would like me to change this part, i will, though i'll have to change the history and a few other things.))
Additional Information:
Sample Roleplay as this character: "Scum, wake up! We have a special guest today." A scratchy voice barked into the small cell. Suikius lay sprawled out over a few bales of hay, yawning as he rolled over, sitting up. He shook his head, narrow fingers pushing his hair away from his eyes. A splash of dirty water from a metal bucket beside him washed away another night of troubled sleep. It was hard to believe people stayed in this hell for their entire lives.
"Do you know who's coming?" Suikius called across a stone hallway to a pale, rather scrawny man. You'd imagine the men in prison to be cold, fearsome men, but most weren't anything like it.
"I heard it was some army official, nothing to get too excited about." The man spoke with a dreary tone in his voice. "It won't be half as fun as when that priest came around.." He was going to be in prison for the rest of his life, he drowned his four children. Suikius couldn't blame him at all.
"As you can see, we keep this place in tip-top shape.." The voice faded in from down the corridor, the same gruff voice from the beginning. This time there were the pairs of footsteps creeping closer. Little details became much more apparent when you had nothing else to fill your mind. A man approached, roughly six feet tall and dressed in a flamboyant red robe. His dark hair was tied behind his head in a ponytail. The group slowly passed through the branch, until the robed man (the apparent leader of the pack) stalled at a cell.
"Well, I'll be d*mned! You're that kid from the stable." He turned to one of his guards, "Have you ever seen this kid ride? What I'd do to get a rider like that.."
"Sir, he is imprison for the drunken murder of a nobleman, would you really-" The guard snarled in jealousy, but was interrupted.
"Oh, shut up, grunt. At least he can kill something, unlike you." He was obviously the commander, even though he seemed a little drunk. Perhaps it was how he always acted. Either way, Suikius wasn't going to let the opporunity slip away.
"Well, I'm flattered. But as long as I'm in this lovely 8 foot square I call home, I don't think I'll be doing much for you, sir." Suikius gave a sly smirk.
"You know what, I like this kid. Open the cell." One of the guards moved forward, muttering a few curses to himself as he fumbled through a ring of keys. The metal screeched as the door opened, the sweetest song Suikius had heard in years.
"I'm Commander Morland. I've seen your work and I'm impressed. That doesn't happen too often. I would like you to join with the Order of the Stallion for the remainder of your sentence." The jaw of the guard beside him hit the floor. "You will be watched, you will be expected to return to the soldier's quarters, and you will be expected to serve the Lord with undying loyalty. This is a priveledge, if you abuse it, you will be back here or you will be lying next to your father in a heartbeat."
"Suikius Delia, I am. And I would be honored to be at your service.." He bowed, mocking Morland's guards silently.
((A little farfetched, I have to admit..))

An interesting and well written introduction Suikius!
Usually we do not allow characters who are already enlisted in the army, but as this is a major part of your character and you have not given yourself the skills gained in the army yet, we shall let you off. [Just be careful to remember that as yet your character does not have better skills than those in the army.]
Welcome to Cesitria!
